Is it important to be aware of what we are consuming since we are young to prevent an unhealthy lifestyle which has a higher risk of causing illnesses such as diabetes or obesity later on in life?

Yes, we should. When we are young as still growing, we must have the proper nutriens when eating. A child should not eat too many sugar, as it could lead to diabetes and other sickness. A child must eat food that contains protein, vitamin and carbohydrate .
